Dunk Tank Raises Funds for Charity
Attendees at our Independence Day Celebration got into the spirit of the event while supporting a worthy cause.
One of the standout activities on the day was the dunk tank, which saw Club governors and staff members braving a plunge into the pool and attendees paying at least ¥100 for three balls to throw.
This year, the activity benefited one of the charities that the Club’s Connections group is funding—the Victim Support Center of Tokyo, which aids victims of crime and their families. The dunk tank raised over ¥94,000, all of which will be donated to the charity.
Club General Manager Darren Morrish, who took a turn in the tank, shared his enthusiasm about the achievement. “We are proud that we were able to raise such a significant amount through an activity that our Members and guests truly enjoyed,” he says.
