Piano

Instructor: Mana Totsuka
Moved to the United States in 2008 to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she was a Janet Rose Piano Scholarship recipient. She has performed in recitals across the US, as well as in Italy, China and Japan, and has taken master classes with the likes of Enrico Elisi, Christina Dahl and Yong Hi Moon.

Instructor: Rieko Okita
A concert pianist and the director of Okita Piano School. She graduated from Musashino Music College and is a current member of the Pace Method Research Society. She has taught at Yamaha and various international schools in Tokyo, with students advancing to universities focused on music.

Instructor: Aiko Takai
A soloist and chamber pianist. After specializing in the piano at Ferris University in Yokohama, she spent several years studying in some of the top music schools in Britain and Italy. She has nearly 20 years of experience teaching all ages and ability levels.

Violin

Instructor: Hana Hatakenaka
Professional violin and viola musician. Born in Australia, she attended schools in Japan, France and China. After graduating from Tokyo College of Music, she studied for her master’s degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She later joined Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra and, for one year, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Hana continues to perform and teaches children.

Guitar

Instructor: Yuma Nozaki
Graduated from Keio University and spent time as an exchange student at Stanford University. Yuma began his career as a singer-songwriter and has years of experience teaching vocal training at a private high school, as well as private guitar lessons. He also has experience teaching kids with special needs.
Private: ¥5,500 (30 minutes)
