Studying stunt choreography provides all the benefits of martial arts, dance and acting.


What will the students learn in this class?
Studying stunt choreography provides all the benefits of martial arts, dance and acting: discipline, strength, flexibility, body and spatial awareness and improvisation and presentation skills.

What will students learn?
Students learn both the art and science of martial arts choreography for film. Students train in commonly used punches, kicks, locks and throws and adapt them for optimal presentation. At the end of the course, students work together to film a convincing fight scene.

Who will teach this class?
Chuck Johnson is the fight choreography instructor of the United Stuntmen’s Association’s International Stunt School and leader of the Quiet Flame Stunt Team. Johnson is an active actor and stuntman on films across Asia and the United States. He holds a 4th dan in taekwondo.
