Beginners learn the basics of playing the piano, from how to place their fingers on the keys to reading music. Advanced students develop the ability to express themselves through music while mastering pieces by different composers. Those musicians keen to take proficiency exams or perform in competitions will learn about practice and mental preparation.

Who will teach this class?
Aiko Takai is soloist and chamber pianist. After specializing in the piano at Ferris University in Yokohama, she spent several years studying in some of the top music schools in Britain and Italy. She has nearly 20 years of experience teaching all ages and ability levels.
